Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Flex Asepto is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in the 6th of October area. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and supporting the company’s strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for strategic planning.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and proper transaction classification.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing preparation.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and promote professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA certification is a plus.
• 5‑8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
