Senior AI Software Engineer (AI & Analytics)

About the role

Infomineo, a global AI-enhanced research company serving consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies and government entities, is looking for an experienced Senior AI Software Engineer in Cairo. You will own the design, development and deployment of AI-powered data products and analytical applications for internal teams and global clients, lead data science and AI initiatives, and work closely with engineering, product and business stakeholders. The role combines data science and AI with full-stack development and cloud deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of AI-powered analytical solutions, translating business and client needs into data science approaches and scalable technical solutions.
• Prototype and productionize machine learning, LLM and generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines (document processing, vectorization, semantic search, evaluation, query optimization).
• Integrate LLM APIs and services (e.g., LangChain) and MCP integrations, and build evaluation frameworks, monitoring and observability for LLM systems.
• Build production-grade AI and data applications in Python with FastAPI, and frontend interfaces with React, Next.js or Vue; develop REST API integrations with third-party AI services and SaaS platforms.
• Support containerization and cloud deployment (preferably GCP with GKE and Artifact Registry), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Mentor junior data scientists, AI engineers and developers, and define standards and best practices for AI solution design, evaluation and delivery.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years of experience in data science, AI development, applied machine learning or related roles, with production-grade AI or data products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience with MCP integrations, analytical workflows, dashboards and data pipelines in a client delivery or enterprise context.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud deployment on at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure or equivalent).
• Familiarity with container orchestration, artifact management, CI/CD, GitOps workflows and branching strategies.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor others and collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong Python, with data science, machine learning and AI libraries and frameworks.
• Backend frameworks such as FastAPI and frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js or Vue.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, generative AI workflows and tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, LangChain or equivalents.
• Preferred: experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph.
