Senior Android Mobile Developer (Fintech)

About the role

AlmavivA is looking for a Senior Android Mobile Developer with deep Fintech experience to design, build, and maintain secure, high‑performance native Android applications. You will work both independently on complex features and collaboratively within an agile mobile team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android banking and payments apps with a strong focus on security and performance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce high standards for unit and integration testing.
• Define scalable architectures, applying Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with backend teams to validate secure API contracts and integrate NFC/HCE payment flows.
• Support app publishing on Google Play and work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure accessibility (WCAG, TalkBack).
• Lead a small agile team, distribute tasks, monitor delivery timelines, and act as the primary technical reference.

Required profile

• 5+ years of native Android development, preferably in the Fintech sector.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on complex tasks and effectively within a team.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
