Senior AP Accountant – Shared Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to lead shared‑service finance functions for multiple construction projects. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely month‑end closings while supporting project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with EAS and IFRS.
• Ensure accurate, timely month‑end and year‑end closings and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
• Oversee financial management of construction projects, monitor cost control, budgets, and progress billing.
• Review project forecasts, identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate external audits, address findings and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets.
• Conduct variance and trend analysis, provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Review subcontractor payments, oversee payroll‑related financial reviews and reconciliations.
• Support accounting software implementation, maintenance and workflow automation.
• Act as liaison between finance and project teams to align financial reporting with operational objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a shared‑service accounting role.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• IFRS Diploma is a plus.
• Strong time‑management skills.
