Senior Architecture Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Senior Architecture Technical Office Engineer will work full‑time on‑site in Cairo, supporting the delivery of construction projects by managing architectural shop drawings and technical documentation. The role bridges architecture, civil and electrical engineering disciplines, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into executable construction details.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate architectural shop drawings, verifying compliance with design intent, codes and project specifications.
• Develop and validate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documents to support cost estimation and budgeting.
• Collaborate with civil and electrical engineering teams to integrate architectural and MEP designs.
• Liaise with site teams to resolve technical issues, provide clarifications and ensure constructability.
• Support quantity surveying activities, including measurement verification and cost control.
• Maintain accurate technical records, attend project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of technical office processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related engineering discipline; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical office, design coordination or similar role within construction or architecture.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with capacity to handle multiple projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams and site staff.
