Senior Associate, Cybersecurity - IDAM (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC's Digital Identity team helps organizations design and implement secure, scalable ways of managing access to systems, applications and data. As a Senior Associate on the IDAM practice, you will own key implementation workstreams, turn business and security requirements into technical solutions and guide junior colleagues through configuration, integration and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Own IAM implementation workstreams such as identity governance, access management, privileged access or Microsoft identity.
• Translate business and security needs into configurations, workflows and integration designs.
• Define user access processes across joiner, mover and leaver scenarios.
• Configure Single Sign-On, MFA, federation and modern authentication across enterprise applications.
• Help clients structure permissions, approval workflows and access policies.
• Connect HR systems, directories, cloud platforms and business applications using standard identity protocols and APIs.
• Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning and integration issues.
• Review technical outputs, support testing and direct junior team members.

Required profile

• Typically 3-6 years of relevant experience in IAM, cybersecurity engineering, cloud identity, application integration or related fields.
• Able to turn a business requirement into a working identity solution and explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable independently configuring and troubleshooting IAM technologies and designing integrations.

Required skills

• Relevant hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, identity governance, access management or privileged access.
• Knowledge of authentication standards, APIs, scripting and cloud environments.
• Experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk or equivalent solutions is an advantage.
