Senior Brand Designer

About the role

Dentsu is looking for a Senior Brand Designer in Cairo, a hands-on role at the intersection of craft, strategy and technology. The designer builds and evolves brand identities across a diverse portfolio of clients, from Saudi-born regional brands to global multinationals across the GCC and MENA, working closely with Creative leads.

Key responsibilities

• Create and roll out brand identity systems across all touchpoints: logos, colour, typography, motion principles, illustration and visual language
• Develop brand guidelines and design toolkits that other teams can use without breaking the system
• Translate brand positioning and strategy into compelling visual identity and own design quality from concept to delivery
• Present work clearly to internal stakeholders and clients, contribute to pitches and new business presentations, and mentor junior designers
• Use AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly and Magnific to speed up ideation and visual exploration
• Manage multiple projects at once while keeping quality high, and adapt brand systems for bilingual English/Arabic applications

Required profile

• 5-7 years in branding and visual identity design
• Agency experience
• Portfolio showing identity systems built from scratch or significantly evolved
• Understanding of the GCC / Saudi market
• Curious about AI and able to integrate new tools into the workflow
• Strong visual taste, cultural awareness and reliability under deadline pressure

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Figma
• Midjourney / Adobe Firefly and image enhancement tools such as Magnific or Topaz
