Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimise our data pipelines, models, and analytics infrastructure. You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to deliver reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Develop high‑quality data integration workflows using modern tools such as Spark, Databricks and Airflow.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules and monitoring dashboards.
• Own the design and maintenance of logical and physical data models for operational systems and the enterprise data warehouse.
• Collaborate with DBAs, architects and product teams to ensure scalability, performance and governance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Python and SQL/PLSQL skills with experience in relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Hands‑on experience with NoSQL databases and streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
