About the role

Veolia Water Technologies is looking for a Senior Design Engineer in New Cairo. The engineer prepares hydraulic, pump and process calculations, designs piping and civil drawings, and supports the preparation of technical documents and vendor offers for water treatment projects.

Key responsibilities

Review process calculations and prepare hydraulic and pump calculations.
Design P&IDs, PFDs, civil guides, fabrication and piping drawings, and interconnecting piping drawings with crossings.
Review structure drawings.
Prepare BOQs for puddles, pipes, penstocks and valves.
Prepare technical submittals for client approval and RFQs for all mechanical equipment.
Review and evaluate vendor technical offers and review purchase orders from a technical point of view.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience.
Support the implementation of the QHSE management system (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) and comply with Egyptian occupational health and safety regulations.
