Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Al Ahly Momkn, a fast‑evolving fintech subsidiary of Al Ahly Capital, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive automation, reliability and scalability of its payment platforms across Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated build, deployment and testing pipelines.
• Provide DevOps best‑practice guidance to development, QA and systems teams.
• Maintain and optimise DevOps infrastructure, including servers, storage and networking.
• Implement CI/CD processes, using tools such as Jenkins, IaC, SonarQube and ELK.
• Automate build, release, deployment and configuration activities.
• Lead migration and upgrade initiatives for smooth transitions.
• Integrate and manage Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker and micro‑services architectures.
• Ensure high availability of applications on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors for required support and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker and micro‑services.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Infrastructure as Code, SonarQube, ELK and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy, JavaScript).
• Solid Linux administration background and knowledge of DNS, proxy, networking and connectivity.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub and version‑control workflows.
• Software development skills are a plus.
