Senior Engineer – Glass Job Change Specialist

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Glass Job Change Specialist will lead planning, execution, and optimisation of job changes on glass production lines. Based on‑site in 10th of Ramadan, the role ensures efficient mold changes, minimal downtime, and consistent product quality while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate job‑change schedules with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Analyse line performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Document best practices, standards, and procedures for mold changes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot process issues during job changes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and manufacturing regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably glass production or forming operations.
• Strong understanding of forming machinery, mold‑change procedures and production planning.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and operating ERP/MES systems.
