Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Indirect Procurement Senior Specialist will manage the sourcing and purchasing of non‑production items, ensuring the company obtains the right goods at optimal price, quality and quantity. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, logistics, finance and internal quality teams to maintain efficient procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle MRP purchase requests, request quotations from approved suppliers, and select the best quotation to create purchase orders.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to achieve cost‑reduction targets.
• Coordinate the shipping process between suppliers and logistics, manage shipping documents and ensure timely delivery.
• Create inbound delivery tickets in SAP, work with logistics for clearance and warehousing, and follow up with warehouse and quality control for assurance.
• Finalize supplier payments in coordination with finance via cheques, bank transfers or letters of credit.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on delivery performance, price competitiveness, credit rating and service quality, and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience in indirect procurement.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic.
