Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

ATEB Group is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its finance team in Suez. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead financial and operational audits, evaluate internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial and operational audit engagements.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit fixed assets, inventory, and costing systems.
• Monitor and test internal controls and financial procedures.
• Analyze expenses, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Very good English language proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and general computer applications.
• Knowledge of CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) standards.
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards.
