Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Minapharm Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead independent financial audit engagements across its diverse operations. The role involves applying rigorous audit methodology, documenting findings, and delivering actionable recommendations to strengthen controls and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine audit work programs based on risk assessments.
• Execute fieldwork for areas such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.
• Identify control deficiencies, financial irregularities, and compliance gaps, linking them to relevant standards (IIA, IFRS/IAS, Egyptian Accounting Standards, Tax Law).
• Prepare Corrective/Preventive Action Requests (CPAR) for identified weaknesses.
• Supervise junior auditors, review their work papers, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Draft comprehensive audit reports with findings, root causes, risk ratings, and recommendations.
• Present audit results to auditee management and conduct follow‑up reviews of corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial auditing, preferably within a large, regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of IIA standards, IFRS, IAS, Egyptian Accounting Standards, and local tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment, and communicate findings clearly.
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior audit staff.
