Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

As a Senior Legal Counsel you will join Siemens Energy’s Middle East Legal Team, providing corporate and transactional legal support for the company’s activities in Egypt. Reporting to the General Counsel, Middle East & Africa, you will work in a trust‑based environment that encourages personal ownership and leadership development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage legal support for Siemens Energy’s operations in Egypt and deliver corporate legal advice.
• Administer corporate governance functions, including board meetings, Annual General Assemblies, and act as company secretary.
• Collaborate with HR and other corporate functions on a variety of legal matters.
• Review, comment on, and negotiate tenders, contracts, and related documents.
• Support routine legal matters, ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations, and assist with claims management.
• Contribute to contract standardisation, process improvement, and develop legal training for business partners.
• Work closely with the global legal community and the Compliance Organisation.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Demonstrates Siemens Energy’s values and behaviours.
• Eager and able to contribute to a flexible, dynamic team.
