Senior MEP Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Senior MEP Technical Office Engineer will lead the preparation of shop and coordination drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately translated to the construction site. You will act as the main liaison between design disciplines, subcontractors, and site engineers to resolve technical issues that arise during construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop shop drawings and composite coordination drawings from design documents, maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain the shop‑drawing log and submit drawings to consultants for approval.
• Review and coordinate subcontractor and outsourced shop drawings, managing their approval process.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) for any missing or conflicting design data.
• Collaborate with surveying engineers to provide accurate site coordinates and measurements.
• Assist site engineers in troubleshooting technical problems linked to design.
• Produce as‑built drawings and compile material submittals for consultant review.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and risk assessments.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a technical office environment within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction documentation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and manage documentation flow.
