Senior .NET Developer

About the role

Newgiza University is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join its IT team. The role focuses on building and maintaining high‑quality web and desktop applications that support the university’s academic and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET web and desktop applications, including ASP.NET WebForms.
• Design and implement reusable C# libraries following object‑oriented principles.
• Create and optimise database schemas in Microsoft SQL Server to support business processes.
• Integrate Node.js components where required.
• Apply design, architectural and concurrency patterns to build scalable solutions.
• Produce reports using SSRS and maintain version control with Git/TFS.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science or IT.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and the Common Language Runtime.
