Senior PQA – Production Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Senior PQA is the on‑ground quality authority for factories in Egypt, responsible for driving product quality improvements across the production chain. You will monitor bulk compliance, lead root‑cause analysis, manage corrective actions, and work closely with vendor quality teams to raise capability year over year.

Key responsibilities

• Review bulk production against brand standards and monitor high‑risk items throughout the production cycle.
• Authorize and oversee third‑party inspections, analyse results and trigger corrective actions.
• Lead the full RCA/CAP cycle: initiate, assign, monitor, verify closure and ensure effectiveness in subsequent runs.
• Assess vendor capability against quality KPIs, set annual targets, produce performance reports and recommend tier changes.
• Identify repetitive manual quality processes and propose automation or standardisation solutions.
• Contribute to regional and global quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in apparel manufacturing, buying office or brand sourcing.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of denim production processes (fabric construction, finishing, wash development, shrinkage, seam performance).
• Proficiency in RCA methodologies (5‑Why, Fishbone) and CAP documentation.
• Working knowledge of AQL inspection standards and third‑party inspection management.
• Formal qualification in Textile, Garment Technology or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across factories.
