Senior Procure-to-Pay & Import Accountant (P2P)

About the role

The Senior Procure-to-Pay & Import Accountant will own the full P2P accounting cycle, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately, on time, and in line with internal controls. The role supports the company’s ERP implementation, strengthens financial controls, and maintains solid supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay processes, including 3‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
• Record supplier invoices in Odoo and prepare payment proposals according to payment terms and approval matrices.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and monitor advances, deposits and prepaid balances.
• Maintain supplier master data, ensure correct expense classification, cost‑centre allocation and tax treatment.
• Prepare AP ageing reports, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and provide documentation for audits.
• Assist with Odoo P2P testing, continuous improvement and ERP implementation activities.
• Handle accounting for imported purchases, including freight, customs duties, clearing charges and landed‑cost calculations.
• Manage foreign‑supplier and multi‑currency transactions, coordinating with Treasury for currency payments.
• Track open purchase orders, delivery status and goods receipt completion to ensure timely invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of accounts‑payable experience.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Good understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and regulations.
