Senior Project Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Senior Project Manager to lead medium‑criticality railway projects in Cairo. You will work with a collaborative team of engineers, procurement specialists, and finance professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance while optimizing margin and cash flow.
• Define project strategy, objectives, and governance in line with contractual requirements.
• Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close‑out.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and claims, and report progress and KPIs to senior management.
• Oversee project governance, resource management, and stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in the railway industry, including at least 5 years in signalling and communications.
• Proven experience with EPC contracts and multi‑site, multi‑functional team coordination.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of Alstom’s way of working is a plus.
