Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

The Senior Quality Specialist will lead food quality, safety and regulatory compliance across all cilantro store operations. Working closely with the QA & FS Manager and operational teams, you will embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP plans, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and other food safety management systems.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and product evaluations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and manage CAPA processes.
• Support supplier audits and evaluate third‑party performance.
• Identify quality gaps, drive data‑driven improvement projects and update SOPs, work instructions and checklists.
• Analyse quality data, KPI trends and prepare regular reports for management.
• Deliver food safety and quality training, coach operations teams and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine or related field (required).
• Post‑graduate qualification or professional certification in food safety/quality management is a plus.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or food safety within food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience leading HACCP studies, internal audits and CAPA processes; coffee industry or QSR background is advantageous.
