Senior Quality Specialist – Packaging Materials

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist to oversee packaging material quality for our FMCG operations in 10th of Ramadan City. The role involves ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming packaging material deliveries and assess quality.
• Identify line quality issues and collaborate with Packaging R&D, vendors, and engineering to implement solutions.
• Support vendor selection to secure the best quality materials.
• Assist in developing new primary and secondary packaging, conducting trials, and approving designs.
• Benchmark packaging solutions against competitor products in domestic and international markets.
• Review artwork to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in quality control within the FMCG or packaging material industry.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations such as EDA and EU Cosmetics Regulation.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of packaging technologies, supply‑chain operations, and vendor management best practices.
• Experience using ERP systems.
