Senior Quantity Surveying Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveying Engineer will lead commercial management activities across construction projects, handling quantity take‑offs, interim payments and variation assessments while ensuring strict compliance with contractual terms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs based on drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier invoices and process interim payments.
• Assess variations and ensure they align with contract conditions.
• Guide and mentor junior quantity surveying engineers.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement and site teams to optimise cost efficiency and maintain comprehensive contractual records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years proven experience in construction quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, particularly FIDIC and local standards.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
