Senior Sales Engineer – Architectural Metal Ceiling & Steel Systems

About the role

Pillars is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Engineer to lead sales of its premium architectural metal ceiling and galvanized steel systems across Egypt. You will act as a technical consultant for architects, consultants and contractors, helping them select the right solutions for landmark projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle for key accounts in the construction and interior fit‑out sectors, from lead generation to closing complex B2B deals.
• Provide technical consultation, interpreting client requirements and proposing tailored metal ceiling and steel solutions (open‑cell, tiles, strips, vertical ceilings).
• Manage tenders and proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and EU standard EN13964.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors and distributors.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the construction or building‑materials industry.
• Proven track record of closing B2B deals and managing large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural metal ceiling systems and galvanized steel sections.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
