Senior Sales Engineer – Construction

About the role

The Senior Sales Engineer – Construction will drive new business for water and wastewater treatment projects, pumping stations and related equipment across public and private sectors in Egypt. Based in Cairo, the role combines technical expertise with solution‑selling to deliver competitive proposals and support projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the water, wastewater and infrastructure market.
• Meet clients, gather technical requirements and translate them into detailed commercial proposals.
• Conduct site visits to scope projects, design solutions and size equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and project teams to ensure technically sound and cost‑effective offers.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, present partner product capabilities and follow up on tenders and bids.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships to generate repeat business and high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of sales engineering experience in construction, infrastructure or water/wastewater projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and build strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience with tenders, contracts and multidisciplinary project teams.
