Senior Site Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Architect to lead the architectural planning, design and construction of our projects in Cairo. The role involves shaping high-quality, innovative spaces that align with MakePlace’s vision of delivering unique real-estate developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve design issues on-site and ensure compliance with Egyptian building codes.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and quality standards to deliver on time and within scope.
• Oversee the integration of sustainable design practices and material specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior architectural role, preferably within real-estate development.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, building-code compliance and quality assurance.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Advanced architectural visualization and space-planning capabilities.
• Project management, budgeting and time-management expertise.
