Senior Supply Planning – Launch Readiness Manager

About the role

The Launch Readiness Manager will be the single point of accountability for all supply‑chain launch activities across new vehicle programs at the assembly plant. Reporting full‑time onsite to the GM office, you will ensure 100% material availability, engineering‑change alignment and supplier readiness from concept through Start of Regular Production (SORP).

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end supply‑chain launch activities for every new vehicle program.
• Own launch‑readiness outcomes and represent Supply Chain in cross‑functional program reviews.
• Coordinate break‑point communication, launch dates, Manufacturing Validation Builds and first Sub‑KD orders.
• Track engineering changes weekly and manage MRP runs to clear obsolete material.
• Conduct Capacity Tracking Reviews, maintain bi‑weekly action plans for high‑risk suppliers and monitor imported pipelines.
• Drive issue resolution to protect vehicle‑launch milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive supply‑chain experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Proven experience in vehicle‑launch operations and supplier management.
• Familiarity with cross‑functional program environments (Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Quality).
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP or equivalent.
• Experience using Power Apps for workflow automation.
