Senior Tax Accountant

About the role
The Senior Tax Accountant will oversee the company’s tax compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and timely filing of all tax obligations. This role involves close interaction with internal teams and external advisors to maintain alignment with Egyptian tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review and follow up on suppliers’ tax invoices.
- Create and manage the electronic receipts system.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
- Monitor tax law updates and adjust internal policies accordingly.
- Prepare periodic reports on the company’s tax status.
- Coordinate income tax matters with external legal accountants.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Accounting.
- 2–4 years of experience in taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws.
- Experience preparing all types of tax returns.
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy in reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in electronic tax systems.
