Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant will ensure accurate and timely tax compliance for Majid Al Futtaim in Egypt. Working closely with the Finance Delivery Team, business units, service providers and tax authorities, the role supports both routine filings and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file periodic tax compliances, including Corporate Tax (CT), VAT, and offshore Withholding Tax (WHT).
• Collaborate with the associate manager to review, finalise and submit tax filings.
• Liaise with tax authorities on ongoing audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain tax data in line with the Group Retention Policy and authority requirements.
• Drive process improvements across accounting and tax functions.
• Prepare tax reports for various tax types as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 4‑6 years of relevant tax accounting experience.
• Practical knowledge of governmental tax portals.
• Experience in an audit firm is preferred.
• Strong accounting and ERP knowledge.
• Process‑improvement mindset.
