Senior Technical Office Engineer – Wood Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer specialized in wood works to lead technical operations on our construction projects. The role involves ensuring that all wood work designs, specifications, and installations comply with architectural intent, relevant codes, and quality standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review technical specifications and drawings for wood work projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee quality control and design adherence.
• Prepare and analyse reports on project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide technical support during execution and resolve arising challenges promptly.
• Ensure all wood work materials meet safety standards and project requirements.
• Assist in creating project schedules and progress reports for management.
• Review shop drawings and submittals related to wood works, offering feedback for compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor compliance with design and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical office engineering with a focus on wood works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes related to wood applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
