Senior Textile Production Engineer

About the Position

Red Cotton is seeking a highly skilled Senior Textile Production Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency. In this strategic role, you will be at the heart of our production process, optimizing workflows and ensuring the highest standards of garment construction.

Main Missions

• Analyze complex garment manufacturing processes to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Conduct advanced Time & Motion studies and establish precise SMV (Standard Minute Value) for diverse styles.
• Implement strategic line balancing techniques to ensure seamless workflow and maximize production throughput.
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) including efficiency, productivity, and downtime.
• Provide strategic reporting and data-driven insights to management.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Quality departments to innovate sewing methods and garment construction techniques.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Arts, or Home Economics (Ready-to-wear specialization).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in large-scale garment manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Required Skills

• Mastery of GSD (General Sewing Data) and line balancing methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Deep technical knowledge of garment construction and sewing machinery.
• Expertise in mass production dynamics and industrial engineering workflows.
