Senior Wintel System Administrator – Freelance (Remote, Egypt)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Wintel System Administrator on a long‑term freelance basis. The role is fully remote and supports our global infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Windows‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments across multinational sites, including AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
• Provide L3 troubleshooting and support for complex server performance, security, and service issues.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Support VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure, manage vCenter clusters, HA, DRS, storage policies, templates and snapshots.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash and Python, and employ Ansible for configuration management.
• Execute patch management and monitor compliance using WSUS, SCCM or equivalent tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise Windows Server administration.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven ability to document procedures and maintain knowledge bases.
• Experience with Nutanix Prism Central / Element and AHV hypervisor is a plus.
