Shift Lead – Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The Operations & Maintenance Engineer supports daily site activities in production and maintenance, ensuring safety, asset availability and compliance while representing Air Liquide with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance (M1 tasks) and support on‑call emergency management.
• Coordinate with SIOC, contract and in‑house teams to optimize facility performance and reliability.
• Monitor alarms, troubleshoot using DCS and other systems, and respond to escalated issues on site.
• Manage spare parts inventory, support contractors, and assist in minor upgrade or retrofit projects.
• Communicate production plans and incident management to customers as delegated by the Facility Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control).
• 1‑3 years experience in operations or maintenance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Ability to read P&ID, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of HSE and process safety fundamentals.

• ASU operations and related technology.
• Mechanical, electrical or instrumentation maintenance.
• Process control, smart maintenance and digital tools.
• Data analysis basics.
• Equipment knowledge (compressors, turbines, safety valves, analyzers).
