Site Mechanical Piping Construction Field Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Site Mechanical Piping Construction Field Engineer to provide technical oversight and support for piping and welding activities on large‑scale nuclear projects. The role acts as the primary interface between Worley’s construction supervision team, subcontractors, and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and support for piping and welding activities during construction.
• Review engineering, construction, and field change documentation for compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Assist the Site Construction Supervision team in resolving technical issues related to piping systems and welding processes.
• Monitor site activities, identify non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in safety reviews and quality‑assurance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, review comments and correspondence for the customer.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of piping and welding engineering experience on large‑scale projects.
• Mandatory nuclear industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Russian is a plus.
• Proactive team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Organised, disciplined and capable of planning and scheduling tasks.
