Social Media Listening Associate

About the role

Nestlé Business Services is looking for a Social Media Listening Associate in Cairo, Egypt, within its Integrated Marketing Services department. The role monitors digital and social media channels, collects, structures and analyzes data from multiple sources to support Brands and Functions with reputation management, social insights and content marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Process, label and tag all relevant data accurately in the corresponding digital and media analytics tools
• Produce omnichannel analysis reports, dashboards and presentations, including social brand equity reports, measurement of owned digital and social channels, marketing campaign performance analysis and brand ecosystem and crisis listening insights
• Support ad-hoc business requests such as data pulls, data structuring and analysis
• Crisis listening: identify potential reputational risks, alert Brands and Functions in time and support issue management
• Update standard routines according to the assignment and work with cross-functional teams on analytics projects and initiatives

Required profile

• University degree in marketing, business studies, communications, journalism, media studies, psychology or similar
• Solid understanding of how social media platforms work (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
• Advanced English, plus an additional language depending on project needs
• Experience with analytical tasks (work or academic) is a plus

Required skills

• Understanding of social media listening tools such as Social Studio, Socialbakers, Sprinklr, TalkWalker or Google Analytics
• Ability to handle large volumes of data from different sources
• Excel: organizing tables, building simple charts, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting
• Basic data visualization and presentation skills
• Confident use of MS Word and PowerPoint
