Software Backend Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Backend Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend systems. The role focuses on building high‑performance services using Java and Spring Boot while leveraging cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost‑efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Define and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Design and develop relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non‑relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Integrate IaC tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning.
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using DataDog and PagerDuty.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Ability to implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
