Software Developer – Cloud & Application Engineering

About the role

As a Software Developer at Schneider Electric you will design, build and deliver robust cloud‑based applications that meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency. You will work directly with clients to gather requirements and own the solution from architecture through deployment and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Architect and design end‑to‑end software solutions, selecting languages, databases, frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Implement features, conduct code reviews, test, deploy and release high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Lead hand‑over meetings and create clear documentation for design, functionality and processes.
• Deliver sprint outputs on time using Agile methodologies and collaborate with globally distributed teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English and ability to meet sprint deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and sprint planning.
• Experience with version control, code reviews and testing practices.
