Software Developer - System Administration

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer specialized in System Administration to join our IT operations team. In this hybrid development‑operations role you will design, build, and maintain automated, secure, and highly available infrastructure that powers our business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Administer, configure, and optimise servers, containers, and cloud resources for high availability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, configuration‑management, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerting, and logging strategies to proactively detect issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate applications with backend services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident management and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
