Software Engineer II – QuantumBlack AI

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join QuantumBlack, the advanced analytics and AI arm of McKinsey. In this role you will partner with clients across multiple industries to design, build and deliver next‑generation AI‑enabled products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive architectural design and make strategic technology decisions for scalable products.
• Apply agile methodologies to manage workstreams and ensure timely delivery.
• Help clients develop technical capabilities and embed engineering best practices.
• Co‑create solutions alongside client leadership, acting as a technology mentor.
