Solutions Engineer

About the role

9H is a creative‑tech company that builds digital experiences for modern businesses. We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Engineer to join our engineering team, work closely with the Tech Lead, and report to the Head of Technology. This senior role owns technical delivery from scope definition through architecture and shipping.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical direction on Laravel and WordPress projects from scoping to delivery.
• Maintain and improve legacy web systems, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Produce clean, well‑documented, maintainable code across all projects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with the Tech Lead to define and uphold company‑wide development standards.
• Participate in code reviews and raise overall code quality.
• Plan, estimate, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously with Project Managers.
• Maintain thorough documentation of technical decisions, architecture, and processes.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with PHP, Laravel and WordPress at scale.
• Proven ability to handle high‑pressure incidents on critical systems.
• Strong focus on documentation and code quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving agency environment with shifting priorities.
