Storekeeper – Construction Site Warehouse

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials on a construction site. The role ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately recorded, and available to meet project requirements while complying with company HSE and warehouse policies.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and submit inventory, in/out status, dead stock, age, and consumption reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain custody of all materials, tools, and equipment, storing them according to specific instructions and unit of measure.
• Reconcile stock balances between physical stock cards and the Oracle ERP system.
• Oversee warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety, preventing waste or damage.
• Receive a wide range of materials, prepare daily Material Receiving Reports (MRR), and distribute items to site warehouses.
• Monitor minimum stock levels, slow‑moving, obsolete, and expiring items, providing periodic alerts to supervisors and project managers.
• Ensure QC inspection before final acceptance of items and enforce HSE guidelines.
• Supervise warehouse assistants and laborers, reporting performance twice a year.

Required profile

• Minimum BSC degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, preferably within construction.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for inventory management.
