Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to manage the storage and movement of materials on a construction site. The role ensures that all project material requirements are met while maintaining strict adherence to warehouse policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit daily inventory reports (In/Out status, dead stock, material age, consumption) to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Receive, inspect, and distribute a wide range of construction materials to site warehouses, ensuring QC approval before final receipt.
• Maintain accurate stock balances in physical stock cards and the Oracle ERP system.
• Monitor minimum stock levels, slow‑moving or obsolete items, and items with expiration dates, providing timely alerts.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, proper arrangement of items, and compliance with HSE and company policies.
• Supervise warehouse assistants and laborers, reporting performance twice a year.
• Prepare Material Receiving Reports (MRR) and monthly inventory transaction summaries.

Required profile

• BSc degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, preferably on construction projects.
• Good knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and HSE regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with project managers and supply‑chain teams.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (inventory module).
