Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help us create realistic consulting scenarios that train and evaluate advanced AI systems. This freelance, remote position focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for generative models.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed project scenarios that reflect authentic industry contexts, financial data, constraints, and incomplete information.
• Break down each scenario into discrete consulting tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, operational diagnosis and benchmarking.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate an LLM‑based grading system.
• Collaborate with the AI‑training team to ensure the tasks and evaluation criteria align with model capabilities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and produce client‑ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
• Willingness to work remotely on a project‑based freelance basis.
