System & Network Administrator – Windows Server & Virtualization

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System & Network Administrator to join Mar Group Egypt in Obour City, Cairo. The role focuses on maintaining Windows Server environments, managing virtualization platforms and ensuring the reliability of our network and telephony infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and File Servers.
• Design, implement and support LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless and overall network infrastructure.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot routers, switches and firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos) and enforce security policies.
• Deploy and administer VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization, managing clusters, VMs and storage.
• Operate Veeam Backup & Replication, create backup jobs and support disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Maintain endpoint security solutions, antivirus and apply system patches.
• Install, configure and support Panasonic PBX and 3CX phone systems, including extensions, SIP trunks and call routing.
• Monitor system health, network performance and ensure maximum uptime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator or similar role.
• Proven ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
