Tax Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Tax Accountant to join our finance team in downtown Cairo. The successful candidate will manage the company’s tax obligations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, guaranteeing accuracy and timely filing.
• Research and interpret Egyptian tax laws to maintain continuous compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements with detailed tax analysis.
• Reconcile tax accounts, identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather data for tax calculations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements in tax accounting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Understanding of tax compliance and financial reporting.
