Technical Office Engineer – Water Infrastructure Instrumentation & Control

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Office Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure Instrumentation and Control team. The role combines client interaction, tender analysis, and the design of integrated instrumentation solutions for water and wastewater projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical liaison between the sales team and clients after initial meetings to clarify requirements.
• Analyse tenders and technical specifications, preparing comprehensive technical and financial proposals.
• Develop innovative, integrated solutions using products from our vendor network.
• Conduct nationwide site surveys to ensure proposed solutions match project conditions.
• Prepare and submit technical offers for final approval by the pre‑sales head.
• Maintain and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing.
• Update and expand the supplier and vendor database for local and international markets.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients as needed.
• Research new technologies from partners, vendors, and competitors.
• Participate in courses and seminars to continuously improve technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in the water & wastewater industry.
• 2‑4 years of experience in instrumentation and control disciplines.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication, reporting and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, conduct research and negotiate effectively.
