Technical Office Manager

About the role

The Technical Office Manager will lead the on‑site technical office for construction projects in New Cairo, ensuring that all drawings, specifications and documentation meet project requirements and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and approve technical, shop and as‑built drawings against specifications and codes.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates and quantity take‑offs.
• Collaborate daily with project managers, site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues.
• Produce technical submittals, method statements, procurement requests and regular progress reports.
• Research materials, construction methods and value‑engineering options to improve cost, quality and schedule.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Civil preferred) with solid experience in building systems and construction methods.
• Proven experience in a technical office or similar construction role in Egypt.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross‑functionally with site teams, consultants and suppliers.

Required skills

• Technical drawing review and coordination.
• AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
• MS Office suite.
• Project management software (advantage).
• Budgeting, cost estimation and quantity surveying.
