Technical Office & Tendering Lead – Fire Protection

About the role

The Technical Office & Tendering Lead will own all technical office and tendering activities for fire‑protection projects, primarily in oil & gas environments. The role ensures delivery of compliant engineering solutions, drives technical excellence, and coordinates procurement and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review and approval of engineering deliverables such as hydraulic calculations, technical studies, shop drawings and documentation.
• Ensure fire‑protection designs meet project specifications, client requirements, NFPA standards and international codes.
• Oversee engineering of sprinkler systems, fire‑pump systems, foam, clean‑agent, wet & dry chemical, fire‑trace, detection & alarm, and suppression release & control systems.
• Review tender documents, specifications and BOQs; prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Conduct technical clarification meetings and represent the company during tender and pre‑award stages.
• Lead technical procurement, evaluate products, define requirements and manage vendor compliance.
• Provide technical leadership across projects, resolve engineering challenges and align with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain technical governance, prepare submittals, material take‑offs and ensure proper document control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fire‑protection engineering, especially for oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and relevant international codes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage tendering processes.
• Excellent coordination skills with procurement, manufacturing, installation and quality functions.
