Telecom Sales Engineer

About the role

The Telecom Sales Engineer will be based on‑site in El Sheikh Zaid and will work closely with clients to understand their telecommunications and infrastructure requirements. You will design tailored technical solutions, prepare detailed quotations and technical offers, and support both pre‑sales and post‑sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements and propose customized telecom solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, technical offers and product demonstrations.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments to scope projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper solution design and project scoping.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Follow up on leads, manage customer accounts and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Stay updated on telecom technologies, market trends and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering and telecom solution design experience.
• Proven track record in sales, account management and closing technical deals.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, fiber optics, cabling or heavy equipment used in power, construction or oil & gas projects is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site, conduct field visits and collaborate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
