Telecommunications Peer Reviewer (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for experienced academics to join our remote peer‑review team, focusing on manuscripts in the telecommunications field. This is a stable, long‑term part‑time assignment that allows you to contribute your expertise while working from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions to ensure they are clearly presented and supported by data.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
